Checks & Money Orders

Order Checks

Use these links to re-order your checks, choose a new design, or check your order status. If you have a change of address, please contact a Member Service Representative for assistance. Senior Club members who receive free checks must order through an MSR or you may be charged for your checks. Place your order with:

Official/Teller Checks

An Official Check may be purchased at the teller line for any amount. These are guaranteed Cedar Point Federal Credit Union checks and might not be put on hold by the receiver's financial institution. Stop payments may not be placed on these checks.

As of September 1, 2023, Cedar Point has lowered the fee for Official Checks to $2.00.

Currency & Coins

Coin Services

Automatic coin counting is available at all branches. There is no fee to our members for this service and the funds can be deposited to your account or exchanged for bills at the teller line. Non-members are welcome to use our coin counting machines for a fee of 10% of the transaction.

Foreign Currency

We do not offer foreign currency at this time.

Additional Services

Postage Stamps

For your convenience, postage stamps are available at the teller line or drive-thru window of any branch office.

Savings Bonds

Savings bonds can be purchased through TreasuryDirect and are issued through the United States government.

Night Deposit Boxes

Night deposit slots are available at our branches. They are conveniently located next to the drive through windows. Deposits are posted on the next business day, but cannot be guaranteed to post before electronic transactions.

Notary Public

Notary Services are available Monday - Friday at all offices and on Saturday at the Headquarters Office. We also offer signature guarantees. There is a fee of $2.00 per stamp for notary services.

Cedar Point Notaries may not notarize the following:

  • Any documents for non-members
  • Wills or Codicils
  • Mortgage documents originating from another lender
  • Deeds of Trust
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Trust Documents
  • Form "I-9"

We are not attorneys licensed to practice law in this state. We are not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities.

Budgeting Tools

Additionally, Cedar Point is happy to provide a few budgeting tools to help you efficiently and effectively track and manage your income and expenses.
