This is an online banking system that enables you to use the Internet to access your credit union account(s). This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing you with the flexibility to take care of many of your financial transactions without requiring you to visit the credit union.

You can sign up for this service even if you don’t use Online Banking, our online access service. Use this form to request Alerts and select your options.
If you do have access to your account on-line, you can set up your Alert preferences on Online Banking. Log in to your account and choose Alert Services under the Access Accounts tab. You can choose which alerts you wish to receive, and define your suffixes and values.
What kind of alerts can I get?
In order to maintain the confidentiality of private information sent via email, while ensuring compliance with privacy and other state and federal regulations, we utilize encryption service through Zix Corporation. You can use these links to re-order your checks, choose a new design, or check your order status. If you have a change of address please contact a Member Service Representative for assistance. Senior Club and Benefits Plus members who receive free checks must order through an MSR or you may be charged for your checks.
If you cannot get to a branch office to order currency, you can order your currency directly from Travelex*. You must use a credit or debit card for this purchase and shipping charges will apply.

Visa Debit Card
The Cedar Point Visa Debit Card is convenient and easy to use, and is widely accepted wherever VISA is accepted. Your Visa Debit Card carries these limits:

For our members who prefer not to use a debit card or do not qualify, Cedar Point offers an ATM card. Cedar Point maintains ATM's throughout Southern Maryland. There are no fees for members using their Cedar Point ATM or Debit Card at a Cedar Point ATM. Deposits are subject to verification and may not be available for immediate withdrawal. You may withdraw up to $200 in a 24 hour period.
Visa Gift Card
You can purchase a Visa Gift Card at any teller line for only $1.50 plus the funds on the card up to a limit of $1000.00. There is a 24 hour waiting period for activation. Please note this card is not re-loadable. Cards can be used at ATMs or for cash advances when you request a PIN*, but should not be used for hotels, car rental or gas purchases at the pump. Cards may be used at retailers and on the Internet wherever VISA Debit Cards are accepted.
Please be aware that a monthly maintenance fee of $5.00 will be charged by the card issuer beginning the 13th month from card activation.
*To request a PIN for your Visa Gift Card please call 1-866-833-2370. We are unable to set this PIN in our offices.
Cedar Point maintains a Mobile ATM unit for the use of the community. As with all Cedar Point ATM's, there is no fee for members using their Cedar Point ATM or Debit Card. Please call 301-863-7071 for more information and to schedule your event.

An Official check may be purchased at the teller line for any amount. These are guaranteed Cedar Point Federal Credit Union checks and might not be put on hold by the receiver's financial institution. Stop payments may not be placed on these checks
Money Orders are a safe, convenient, and economical way to make purchases and a great alternative to sending cash in the mail. Because the money order must be paid for in full at the time of purchase, it is a more trusted method of payment than a personal check. The maximum amount for Money Orders is $999.99.
Automatic coin counting is available at the Headquarters, Lexington Park, Leonardtown, Prince Frederick, and Charlotte Hall Offices. There is no fee to our members for this service and the funds can be deposited to your account or exchanged for bills at the teller line. Non-members are welcome to use our coin counting machines for a fee of 5% of the transaction.
The tellers in the Patuxent River (Base) Office will be happy to accept your rolled coins. Please write your account number on the wrapper.
There are no fees associated with the purchase of rolled coin.
You can purchase foreign currency at any teller line. Your currency can even be ordered from one branch and delivered to a different branch. Currency is usually delivered on the next business day. Unused currency - bills only, no coin - can be returned to any teller and will be credited to your account at the current exchange rate. Shipping charges apply. Processing of returned currency usually takes 7 - 10 business days.
For your convenience postage stamps are available at the teller line or drive-thru window of any branch office.

Direct Deposit and Electronic Payments (ACH)
With direct deposit, you can have your salary, retirement or any additional income automatically deposited into your account at the credit union. so you'll have peace of mind knowing your funds are deposited on time. And you get your first box of basic checks FREE when you start a new account with direct deposit.

Payroll deduction works in conjunction with Direct Deposit. A portion of your automatic deposits may be placed in your savings while the balance is deposited into your checking account. You determine the amount you wish to put into savings and checking. In addition, you may also have regular payments automatically taken from your account for services provided by Cedar Point.
Automatic transfers within your Cedar Point account will only be pulled from the account you have designated and will not overdraft to another suffix.
Wire transfers give you the satisfaction of knowing your funds are there within 24 hours. Need cash sent to a relative, for settlement or to cover that NSF check? Western Union Quick Cash
You can also transfer funds from your account at Cedar Point to any of over 70,000 Western union locations with in the US or other countries. Cedar Point charges a fee of $5.00 in addition to the standard Western Union Fees. Our Senior Club and Benefits Plus© members do not pay the Cedar Point fee, but are still liable for Western Union fees. Please be aware, we do not send wires for payments to businesses.

Safe Deposit Boxes are an excellent way to keep your valuables safe. Cedar Point has four different sizes at our Headquarters, Lexington Park, Leonardtown, Prince Frederick and Charlotte Hall Offices. Remember, all sizes may not be available. We cannot make substitutions if the size you require is not available.
Notary Services are available Monday - Friday at all offices and on Saturday at the Headquarters Office. We also offer signature guarantees. There is a fee of $2.00 per stamp for notary services.

Motor Vehicle Certification Program (MVCP)
MVCP helps you through the entire new car buying process. Their advisors will direct you to an MVCP dealer where the price on most vehicles has been pre-negotiated. After visiting the dealer, your advisor will double-check your transaction to make sure you get a fair and correct price based on MVCP's strict pricing guidelines. If necessary, your MVCP advisor will resolve any pricing errors directly with the participating dealer. United Buyers Service (UBS)

Looking For Help From a Credit Counseling Agency?
We are sometimes contacted by members regarding how to choose an accredited credit counseling agency. This can be one of the most important choices you will ever make.
The 'good guys' will represent you, charging little to no fees to you, financing their operation with contributions from your creditors. They can reduce or eliminate finance charges and late fees depending upon your situation, helping you to pay bills within full agreement with your creditors. It may not preserve your overall credit score but it will improve your financial forecast in the best way possible.
The 'bad guys' charge you a stiff fee right up front, advise you not to communicate with your creditors any longer and won't disclose to you the fact that they will ruin your credit and good reputation in the process.
Phrases to watch out for are "debt settlement" and "debt cancellation" as clues to the resources being the not-so-good kind. And if they advise you to no longer communicate with your creditors directly you can bet they are not keeping your best interests in mind.
